Prime Minis- ter Menahem Begin will make a major address to an assemblage of 7,000 persons from 22 countries who will be concluding a four-day gathering of survivors of Hitler's death camps and their children and grand- children in Israel on that day. The 7,000 survivors are expected to attend the trib- ute to the Six Million Jews who perished in the Holocaust and to pass a le- gacy of commitment to the next generations. The Gathering is being led by honorary chairmen Elie Wiesel, Simone Veil and Stefan Grayek and execu- tive committee chairman Ernest W. Michel and vice chairman Benjamin Meed. One of the first events highlighting the World Gathering of Holocaust Survivors will be the dedication of the Western Wal of a fully equipped ambulance presented to Magen David Adom by the Kol Israel Founda- tion, Kol Israel Sister- hood and Second Gener- ation Kol Israel, of Cleve- land, Ohio. Many of the MDA ambu- lances on special assign- ment for the World Gather- ing have been donated over the past few years by Holocaust survivors in the United States, inscribed in memory of family victims. The American Anti-Nazi Association will prepare and distribute free a "World Gathering Holocaust Al- bum" as a memento.
