JARC Meeting Set June 18 has all sorts of great gifts for Fast • Safe • Permanent The Jewish Association for Retarded Citizens has announced that its fourth Haverim Home has been named for Samuel and Jean Frankel, longtime suppor- ters of the JARC. Norman Wachler, JARC president, said the Frankels enabled the organization to purchase the Kingshire Road residence in South- field, just as they helped the JARC acquire its first home nine years ago on Ever- green Road in Detroit. It is the residents of the Evergreen home who have moved into the Southfield residence. Six men reside in the at- tractive brick colonial on Kingshire. All of them are working, participate in social activities and help the resident manager and her family in the running of the home. The Frankel family long has been identified with Jewish communal life, especially the Jewish Wel- fare Federation and Allied Jewish Campaign.
