Mrs. Podolsky Marks 90th
Ethyl Podolsky is the re-
cipient of congratulations
from the Flint Jewish com-
munity as she celebrates
her 90th birthday.
Born in Eger, Hungary,
Mrs. Podolsky married her
late husband in St. Louis,
Mich., in 1916.
She and her husband

Jewish Federation is sur-
veying the Flint Jewish
community to see if there
are new areas of concern
that need to be addressed by
the committee.
Project chairmen Kay
Melet and Jane Crossman
have sent letters through
the community asking for
suggestions. Among possi-
ble topics for programs are
aging and aging parents,
suddenly single (divorced or
widowed), parenting
(elementary school, teens,
adult education), inter-
family communication,
money management, death
and dying. Other sugges-
tions are invited.
Keren-Or Group, Hadas-
sah, will install officers at a
brunch 11:30 a.m. June 14
at the Beech Tree restau-
rant.
Pat Fauer will conduct
the installation. Officers to
be installed are: Sandi
Leavitt, president; Therese
Leyton, Debbie Golden-
Steinman and Phoebe
Flynn, vice presidents; Sue
Rittman, treasurer; and Ei-
leen Harris, secretary.
