a benefit sponsored by the
Jewish National Fund of
Canada.
Weeks has served in
municipal government for
the past 27 years. He was a
member of the city council
for several terms, and sub-
sequently served as chief
magistrate.
Mayor Weeks has acted
on behalf of the United Na-
tions Association, UNICEF,
Children's Aid Board, Asso-
ciation of Municipalities of
Ontario, Provinicial-
Municipal Liaison Commit-
tee and the Automotive
Cities of Ontario.
He also has been active
in efforts on behalf of re-
tirees and the unem-
ployed.
. Richard Rosenthal is the
dinner chairman. Cam-
