Founders will purchase $100,000 in Israel Bonds over and above their reg- ular commitments to Bonds. The dinner will be held in spite of a national strike by Israel Bond employees. Some 500 professional and clerical employees through- out the U.S. are on strike against the Development Corporation for Israel. Pic- ket lines were established at 70 regional offices. The strike began last Thursday over salaries and fringe benefits. There are 13 employees on strike at the South- field office. One of the employees, Marilyn Frumkin, told The Jewish News that the em- ployees "deeply regret" the occurrence and hope for speedy negotiations and a solution in the best inter- ests of Israel. "Our devotion to Israel is as vital as our own economic needs," she said, "and we hope there will be an early resumption of activities to keep the economic trends in Israel's behalf intact."
