on May 10 will have as its

Anna Willinger, the oldest
member of the Hungarian
Jewish community, died
last week at age 101.
She was active until re-
cent years in caring for the
Jewish senior citizens home
here and helped operate the
Jewish community's can-
teen. She was also active in
other facets of Jewish com-
munal life.

Sakowitz, chairman of
Sakowitz, Inc, the
Houston-based fashion
store chain, died April 24 at
age 74.
The chain was started by
Mr. Sakowitz's father and
uncle in 1908, and he ex-
panded the retail operation
into 10 stores in Houston
and Scottsdale, Ariz.
