With all votes counted apart from a few mobile and transient stations and boxes. from army camps, the Labor alignment received 63.62 percent of the vote, up 6.51 percent from the 57.11 per- cent gained in the last elec- tions in 1977. The Likud ob- tained 25.81 percent, down 2.37 percent. Only about 58 percent of the 1.5 million eligible vot- ers cast their ballot, a lower percentage than usual. They also said the Labor increase was partly due to the addition of Shulamit Aloni's Ratz Party which stood independently four years ago and brought about two percent this time to Labor. But Labor Spokesmen said they had on the elec- tions and would win the Knesset vote because of the increase in the numbers of their supporters on the bal- lot and because Of the de- cline in the Likud support. Final results will not be known until next week, when the last votes will be counted. Statisticians said no di- rect comparison can be drawn between voting for the Histadrut Council and for the Knesset, as Histadrut members are largely Labor supporters and the issues are differ- ent.
