Residents of the four
Haverim Homes of the
Jewish Association for Re-
tarded Citizens are making
plans for a Passover "with
all the trimmings."
Lynn Medow, director of
residential programs for the
JARC, said the residents
have been creating
PasSrover crafts, such as
Seder plates and matza
covers, and discussing the
rituals of Passover with
program coordinator Irene
Ecksel.
All of them will partici-
pate in the kitchen
changeover to Passover dis-
hes, and they are busy
creating ideas for brown-
bag lunches they will carry
to work during the inter-
mediate days of the holiday.
Ms. Medow said the
residents of all four
will be
encouraged to visit their
families; however, the
annual Seder conducted
by Uri Segal will take
place at the Devonshire
home in Southfield. Each
home will have its Own
