Discounts Needed for Handicapped Editor, The Jewish News: As a group of handi- capped persons, we would like to protest the fact that at every concert or program presented in the Jewish community there are dis- count rates for students and/or senior citizens. There are a group of us that are handicapped and we think discounts should also be given to those who are blind, stroke victims, in wheelchairs, suffering from multiple sclerosis or other disabling diseases. Our community seems to revolve around "senior citi- zens" and youth, and we "handicaps" are often over- looked. We are also in need of transportation to evening and weekend activities. Jewish Family Service pro- vides volunteer drivers to us during the week, but on weekends and evenings we are stranded. Reva Lederman Circle of Handicapped Friends RICHARD ALPERT, 37, died March 26.
