the Jewish Agency and the
World Zionist Organization
Executives, hailed 500
delegates to the first na-
tional convention of Telem,
the Movement for Zionist

existence will be in good
measure determined by

Jacobson,
chairman of the WZO-
American Section, proposed
a program of two years of
life in Israel for prospective
settlers.
A total of 156 Telem
members have made aliya
in the first two years of the
movement's existence.

Anti-Discrimination Com-
mittee, established last
September in Washington,
is setting up an office in De-
troit.
Dr. Nabeel Abraham, a
research associate at
Wayne State University's
Center for Urban Studies, is
local consultant and
spokesman for the organ-
ization, which plans to fight
stereotypes about Arabs.
Dr. Abraham said the
organization may consider
entering into a dialogue
with the anti-Defamation
League of Bnai Brith.
Richard Lobenthal, Michi-
gan director for ADL, said
ADL would be interested as
long as the Arab group "is
not a public relations gam-
bit."
