Planning a Social Occasion? The Coordinator' Makes Life Easier
By HEIDI PRESS,
-
Have you ever been in one
of these situations?
Your son's Bar Mitzva
date has been confirmed
and party plans are being
coordinated. Did you call
the caterer? Have you been
to the printer? How about
flowers? Who have you
called and who haven't you?
You're getting married.
The showers have begun
and the gifts are accumulat-
ing. Did you send everyone
a thank-you note? Did you
keep a record of the gifts?
Can you find everything?
If you can identify with
either of the above, then
Judy Cantor of Birming-
ham has. something to
make your life a little
easier.

JUDY CANTOR
Called "The Coor-
dinator," Mrs. Cantor's
executive secretary makes
planning a Bar Mitzva
party, shower, wedding or
other social occasion as
simple as possible.
The executive secretary
comes in three versions, a
spiral-bound soft-cover edi-
tion, a hard-cover edition
and the deluxe looseleaf edi-
tion, the latter two covered
in supra-suede.
For the looseleaf edition,
refills are available.
The organizer-planner
is divided into six sec-
tions: Invitations;
RSVPs; gifts; filing
pockets for letters,
checks, telegrams, bills
and gift certificates; a
check list and a miscel-
laneous list.
According to Mrs. Cantor,
there are special places for
all the - necessary lists, in-
cluding invitations, out-of-
towners schedules,, menus,
gifts 'received, seating
chargs and more.
The Coordinator, avail-
able at major department
stores and Birmingham
area stationers, began with
a printing of 100, and has
already passed the 2,000
mark.
Although Mrs. Cantor
aimed at the local market,
she was urged by a stationer
to exhibit the planner at a
New York stationery show.

Egypt Aids Iraq
CAIRO — Egypt has
supplied badly-needed
weapons to Iraq for its war
against Iran. President
I Anwar Sadat said the
weapons repaid Iraq for its
assistance to Egypt during
the 1973 Yom Kippur War
against Israel, but Sadat
condemned the Iraqi inva-
sion of Iran
.
She was told that there was
nothing available in the
country like her organizer.
