Anger Without Aggression Program Offered by SPACE SPACE, the community service of the Greater De- troit Section, National Council of Jewish Women, announces a new four-week workshop on "Anger With- out Aggression: Contact Without Control," starting 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Clare Berkowitz, who will lead the workshop, is a cer- tified social worker in pri- vate practice. She has also taught at Oakland and Wayne State Universities, Oakland Community Col- lege and the College of Ma- rin, Marin County, Calif. There is a ,charge. Pre- registration is required. Both of these are to be held consecutively on Wednesday and April 15 and 22. On Wednesday evenings there is an open drop-in discussion each week for those widowed and divorced: A support group for chil- dren of the separated and divorced will be held on Saturday afternoons for four weeks. The time will be chosen when enough regis- trants enroll. The children's group is planned to start Saturday. A( 5:30 p.m. Monday, SPACE will run a support group for children who have lost a parent through death. In the evening at 8 p.m. there will be a divorce sup- port group for men and women. Both of these are four-week series. On Thursdays, there will be four-week support groups for the widowed men and women and a con- tinuous divorce support group for those who have completed a divorce support series before. Both of these groups will meet at 8 p.m. At 8 p.m. April 28, the young widowed group for men and women will meet. The fast of the first-born is on April 16 because fast- ing is not permitted on the Sabbath. The sale of hametz must be completed by 11 a.m. April 17. The search for hametz is conducted during the evening of April 16 and the hametz is 'burned by 11 a.m. April 17. The prayer is not recited, however, until 11 a.m. April 18. The rabbis said that food eaten on the Sab- bath should be Passover items, using Passover utensils. Enough halla should be left for two Sabbath meals, but ca-re should be used because the rest of the house has been prepared for Passover. The third Sabbath meal can be fulfilled by eating meat, fish or fruit.
