' to Hodgkins disease, one of
many afflictions addressed

Jack and Harriet have
co-chaired the organiz-
ing committee on five oc-
casions ... Much of the
function's successes can
be attributed to their ef-
forts selling tickets and
ads for the program
book.
During the early years of
the function, CLF annually
sponsored exclusive pre-
mieres of new movies in the
Detroit area . . . "Hello
Dolly," "Man of LaMan-
cha," "Mame," and Barbra
Streisand favorites "Funny
Girl" and "A Star Is Born."
Recently, exclusives have
not been available, but due
to the efforts of Jack and
Harriet, the fund-raiser has
enjoyed large success.

taurant is presenting musi-
cal entertainment through

field and Warren.

Powers performs Wednes-
day and Thursday 7:30-
11:30 and Fridays and

McFROCK'S SALOON
is now open downstairs at
Roman Terrace on 12 Mile
and Orchard Lake Rd. . .
serving "fun food" like
hamburgers, nachos, pizza,
etc. in a Victorian setting
with authentic oak, beveled
glass, ferns, etc. . . . pat-
terned after the look of yes-
teryears.
A 175-seater, McFrock's
name comes from a combi-
nation of the Roman Ter-
race owners . . . Bob
McDonald and Robert Frac-
chia.
Also, much like the stock
market, McFrock's has a
complete sports update wire
service on its wall.
"GOSH! I HOPE they
don't leave home and go into
show business!" . . . this
might have passed through
the minds of youngsters
watching Mom and Dad
during a rehearsal of "My
Fair Sadie" by Rey Ut Unit,
Bnai Brith . . . to be given
April 4-5 . . . at the Oak
Park High auditorium on
Oak Park Blvd.
Rey Ut in Hebrew means
friendship . . . and that's
exactly what the show is
doing so much of . . . mold-
ing a closer relationship be-
tween the 38 members on
stage (Rey Ut is a married
group of about 45 couples)
plus folks backstage .. .
They see each other three
times a week for three hours
each day.
All before the lights will
be members . . . Members
seldom miss the rehearsals
. . . it's so much fun . . . Even
Elaine Bass with her fever
couldn't stay away.
"My Fair Sadie" will be
a full-scale production
. .. with lots of comedy,
singing and dancing .. .
Non-members are . . .
Choreographer Annette
Bergasse of Annette &
Co. Studio, director
Larry Coe, and Kathy
Pulliam, pianist and mus-
ical director.
Rehearsals are held fat
Workmen's Circle on
Coolidge in Oak Park .. .
That is, when some of them
don't get together on the
side also.
Young Audiences of Met-
ropolitan Detroit will have
a benefit concert and auc-
tion 8 p.m. Monday at the
Music Hall Center for the
Performing Arts.
Entertainer Victor Borge,
a past president of the na-
tional organization will as-
sist Ernest DuMouchelle at
the auction.
The organization brings
music, dance and drama
professionals into schools in
