THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS

Friday, March 20, 1981 15

For years, they've been
meeting like this

Early in the morning, before they head off to
work, these men and women gather for another
kind of labor — a labor of love.

The child of a broken home in West Bloomfield. The
Moroccan immigrant whose children sleep eight to
a room in Ramla, Israel.

They are leaders of the Allied Jewish Campaign-
Israel Emergency Fund — volunteers who give their
time, their energies and their dollars for other
people, as well as themselves and their families.

These volunteers are good at what they do. But
they can't succeed without your help. Please join
them in their task and make your pledge to the
1981 Allied Jewish Campaign-Israel Emergency
Fund.

What qualifies these businessmen, lawyers,
homemakers, doctors for the task of fund raising?
The fact that they care. They care about the lonely,
homebound widow in Bucharest, Romania. The
family of an unemployed factory worker in Oak Park.

[Come and meet all the above at the Annual
Campaign Dinner, March 24 at Temple Israel. For
reservations: 163 Madison Avenue, Detroit, MI
48226 — 965-3939]
