An Open Letter to Hillel Day School . . Rabbi Robert Abramson Headmaster, Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit 32200 Middlebelt Road Farmington Hills, MI 48018 Dear Rabbi Abramson, I would like to thank all of you at Hillel Day School for providing my three children with the excellent background they needed to adjust so successfully to living in Israel. As you know, we left for Israel this August, and enrolled our children directly into the Israeli school system. I am proud to tell you that after an adjustment period, they are progressing beyond our belief. Last week their report cards reflected their success; well above average reports, equivalent to B's and A's. We are thrilled with the success our children have achieved living in Israel, both educationally and socially. Without the Hebrew background you provided to them, their adjustment would have not been so easy. It is gratifying for us to know that the educational system we so strongly support at Hillel has in fact contributed so heavily to our children's successful - living in Israel. Thank you very much from all of us and continued success in educating our Jewish children. S iace-p2 y , - 21 A scholar is not a robber, and a robber is not a scholar. —Talmud f;-)?
