The synagogue's annual Purim carnival will be held March 29. BETH CONG. SHALOM: The reading of the Megillat Esther will take place 6:45 p.m. Thurs- day. The "Shir Leaders" (Junior Choir), under the direction of Cantor Samuel Greenbaum, will perform Purim songs. Admission is free and the public is invited. CONG. BNAI DAVID: A family Megilla service in the main sanctuary will begin at 6:45 p.m. Thurs- day. At 8 p.m., there will be a Purim social hour with re- freshments sponsored by the sisterhood. The Megilla will be read at services 7:15 a.m. March 20 and at 6 p.m. March 22, the Purim family night dinner will be held, spon- sored by the sisterhood and men's club. LIVONIA JEWISH CONGREGATION: The synagogue will be the scene of a Purim carnival and magic show 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday. Luncheon will be served.
