released January statistics
compiled by the London-

665,000 soldiers in confron-
tation states facing Israel's

with 230,000 reserves.
Egypt's 500,000 troops have
not been included as con-
fronting forces since Egypt
signed the peace-treaty with
Israel.
Without Egypt's 635 air-
craft, the confrontation
states of Syria, Jordan, Iraq,

craft. Israel is outnumbered
in tanks, armored personnel
carriers and artillery.
