Hyman Rotman
Hyman Rotman, 90, a
member and recording sec-
retary of the Yiddish Folks
Farein, died Feb. 1.
Born in Russia, Mr. Rot-
man lived in Lynn, Mass.,
prior to settling in Detroit,
where he resided for 40
years. He lived in Palo Alto,
Calif., at the time of his
death.
He is survived by a son,
Dr. Kenneth of Albany,
Calif.; two daughters, Mrs.
Miriam Weiss of Berkeley,
Calif., and Mrs. Robert
(Adele) Rosensweig of Palo,
Alto; and eight grand-
• ;1(iren.
Barry David Kramer,
publisher of the Creem
music magazine, died Jan.
29 at age 37.
A native Detroiter, Mr.
Kramer was a member of
the Detroit Press Club and
the Friars Club.
He leaves a son, Jacob
Justin.

and fought in the battle at
Iwo Jima. He received a
Purple Heart.
He was a member of Per-
fection Lodge of the Masons,
Moslem Shrine, Joe Bale
Post of the Jewish War Vet-
erans and the Marine Corps
League.
He leaves his wife, Bess; a
son, Howard; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Douglas (Karol)
Ross and Mrs. Barbara Be-
rent; his mother, Mrs. Mor-
ris (LOuba) Lupiloff; a
