Ties Remain
to South Africa

PARIS (ZINS) — Accord-
ing to a South African study
that was leaked to the
weekly newspaper Jeune
Afrique, all 50 members of
the Organization for Afri-
can Unity maintain rela-
tions with South Africa and
accounted for $1.3 billion of
her 1980 exports.
Israel, which has been
criticized in the United Na-
tions for her commercial
ties with South Africa, ac-
counts for only 0.4 percent
of South Africa's imports
and 0.7 percent of her ex-
ports.
