Memorial Conference Cen-

Some 150 junior and
senior high school students
and 75 teachers in the five-
county metropolitan area
will participate in the sym-
posium.
Featured speaker will

1978 Nobel Prize winner
in economics. Other
speakers will include Dr.
Irving Feller of the Burn
Center at the University
of Michigan, Sinai Hospi-
tal heart surgeon Dr. Ad-

the U.S. Department of

The Department of
Michigan, Jewish War Vet-
erans has made available
three annual Michigan col-
lege scholarships in the
amount of $300 each.
There are no restrictions
as to race, color, religion,
sex or creed. Any veteran of
the American Armed
Forces, his or her son or
daughter, or grandchild, is
eligible. Need for financial
assistance should be
paramount.
Applicants may include
students attending accre-
dited institutions of higher
learning on a college level
as well as members of the
January or June 1981 high
school graduating class.
The qualified student
should immediately send a
letter requesting schol-
arship information and
forms to: Scholarship Com-
mittee, 16990 W. 12 Mile
Road, Southfield 48076. All
completed forms must be re-
turned by April 15.
