Receives Gifts
from Detroiters

The Smithsonian Institu-
tions in Washington, D.C.
have accepted a furnace ash
sifter, a pair of clinker tongs
and a kitchen pendant
switch and cord with three
outlets from Weider Hard-
ware Wholesalers in De-
troit.
The Weider family has
operated their business
since 1919, and the three
donated items are unsold,
new merchandise from the
1920s.
Sam Weider made the do-
nation with the assistance
of Paul Amber of Royal Oak.
