The Campaign to Relieve Independent Education was created to help pass the Moynihan-Packwood Tui- tion Tax Credit Bill in -the 97th Congress. The bill - would permit parents of children in non-public schools to claim a tax credit for tuition. The credit would be calculated at the rate of 50 percent of the tuition paid by the taxpayer to one or more eligible institutions for himself, his spouse or any of his dependents. The society was founded last year with the stated purpose of making Celine's writings available in the Dutch language. The jour- nal will appear twice a year. Although the society ac- knowledges Celine's Nazi sympathies, it regards him as a great writer whose books deserve to be read. Three of them have already been translated into Dutch and more are expected to follow. His "Voyage Au Bout de La Nuit" has been adapted for the stage by Belgian playwright Guido Lauwaert and will be performed in various Dutch cities in the next few weeks. Our bodies are but dust, but they can bring praise to Him that formed them. Dull and tuneless in themselves, they can become glorious harps on which the music of piety may be struck to heaven. —Punshon El-Mars Furs 13661 W. 11 Mile just West of Coolidge Oak Park, Mich.
