Kosher Law Is Violated Editor, The Jewish News: On June 10, 1966, the Michigan legislature enacted the Michigan Kosher Food Law. The law specifies that if a place of business sells or exposes for sale both kosher and non- kosher food products, it must indicate on its "win- dow signs and all display advertising, in block letters at least four inches in height, "Kosher and non- kosher food sold here." He'says nuclear weapons in the hands of the Arabs would be a great peril for the entire region. He advo- cated doing everying within Israel's power to prevent Arab advances in nuclear weaponry. Schiff quoted Mordecai Zippori, Israel's deputy minister of defense, who said that Israel would be forced to take other meas- ures to defend herself if political means do not yield the desired results. Three women have been selected to chair Hillel Day School's 12th annual con- cert to be held 8:30 p.m. March 14 at Ford Au- ditorium. They are: Susan Fried- man, Charlotte Tessler and Sandra Schram. Their selection was announced by the school's new president, Ellen Glen. The concert is the school's major fund-raising event. Hillel, which is located in Farmington Hills and has an enrollment of more than 400 children, provides a secular and Jewish educa- tion for its students.
