Highlighting the new of- ferings in the Judaic studies program is Basic Values of Jewish Life, a study of the Torah's approach to human relations, taught by Rabbi James I. Gordon. The case, McDaniel vs. Essex is now before the U.S. District Court for the West- ern District of Michigan: The employee, Doris McDaniel, worked for the Essex International Corp. in Berrien Springs.
