izations, died Jan. 9 at age
91.
A violinist, Mrs. Bielfield
was born in New York and
lived 62 years in Detroit.
She was graduated from
Hunter College in New
York in 1909. She studied
violin with Walter Dam-
rosch.
She was a life member of
Cong. Shaarey Zedek and
its sisterhood, Hadassah,
National. Council of Jewish
Women, Women's Ameri-
can ORT, Sinai Hospital
Gu . nd Brandeis Univer-
situ _.4ational Women's
- Committee.
She leaves a son, Jerry;
one grandson and one
great-granddaughter.

Aaron Bayer

Aaron Bayer, founder and
president of Arrow Mainte-
nance Supply, Inc., died
Jan. 12 at age 71.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y.,
Mr. Bayer lived 66 years in
Detroit. He owned his sup-
ply business for 31 years. He
was founder and first
president of the Greater De-
troit Sanitary Supply Asso-
ciation and a member of the
International Sanitary
Supply Association. He also
was a member of Pisgah
Lodge of Bnai Brith and
I past president of the Pisgah
Bowling League.
He is survived by his wife,
Betty; three sons, Walter,
Arthur and Yogi; two
daughters, Mrs. Barry (De-
anna) Lawton and Mrs.
Stephen (Laurel) Epstein; a
sister, Mrs. Sylvia Kantor;
and nine grandchildren.

Rickey Ratner

Rickey Ravella Ratner, a
member of Jewish com-
munal organizations, died
Jan. 10 at age 61.
Born in Columbus, Ohio,
Mrs. Ratner lived 30 years
in Detroit. She was a
member of Cong. Beth Ab-
raham Hillel Moses,
Women's American ORT,
Bnai Brith Women and the
Sinai Hospital Guild. She
was a volunteer worker in
the hospital's gift shop.
Mrs. Ratner leaves her
husband, Morris; two
daughters, Mrs. Donald
= (Karen) Nord and Mrs.
Shelby (Harriette) Miller; a
brother, Harry Garaway of
Columbus; two sisters, Mrs.
Jeanne Dunn and Mrs.
Harold (Darah) Romain,
