of principles and exercises
which make the brain more
aware of the body.
The 76-year-old Felden-
krais, who bears a re-
semblance to his longtime
friend and supporter, the
late David Ben-Gurion,
teaches his method in Tel
Aviv (where he now lives)
and at workshops held all
over the world.
Feldenkrais' "pupils" (he
uses this term, rather than
"patients," to describe the
people he works with) have
included violinist Yehudi
Menuhin, the late an-
thropologist Margaret
Mead and basketball star
Julius Ervin. He has also
treated hundreds of chil-
dren and adults afflicted
with cerebral palsy, multi-
ple sclerosis and other mus-
cular diseases.

WASHINGTON — The
introduction of a bill in
Congress making Raoul
Wallenberg an honorary
U.S. citizen is being
planned by freshman Rep.
Tom Lantos (D-Calif.), ac-
cording to an article in the
Washington Post.
The story of Wallenberg,
the scion of a Swedish bank-
ing family who is credited
with saving thousands of..
Hungarian Jews during
World War II, was shown
recently on Public Televi-
sion in. Washington.
Wallenberg was arr
by the Soviets in 1945. They
reported his death in 1947,
but many people, including'
Lantos, have turned up evi-
dence that Wallenberg was
kept alive in Soviet prisons
for a much longer period of
time, and may still be alive
