During the four days of the World Gathering, some of the major events will

• An inaugural mass meeting and memorial services on the grounds of Yad Vashem in
Jerusalem.
• A march of survivors through the streets of Jerusalem to the Western Wall. -
• Special events at a number of kibbutzim in Israel established by Holocaust survivors.
• Construction of a monument made of rocks supplied by individual delegates to the
World Gathering who will bring them from their respective communities in the Dias-
pora.
• Commemorative programs at Massada.
• Assembling of personal oral histories on tape cassettes or written memoirs for the
permanent Archives at Yad Vashem.
• Ceremony of signing the collective Testament of survivors for the future generations.
