Three Detroiters
Three Detroit Jewish

re-elected officers of United
Israel Appeal, at the organ-
ization's 55th annual meet-
ing.
They are: Honorary
Chairman Max M. Fisher;
Co-Treasurer Paul Zuc-
kerman; and Martin Citrin,
member of UIA's board of
directors.
UIA, the major benefici-
ary of United Jewish Ap-
peal, also designated De-
troiters Irwin Green, Frieda
Leemon, Jane Sherman,
Philip Slomovitz and Philip
Stollman to serve as trus-
tees for a one-year term.

cording to a late November
poll by the PORI Institute,
56.1 percent of the Israelis
do not believe there will be
peace in the Middle" East
without settling the Pales-
tinian question.
