BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH CHIVES 2 9-oz. packages frozen brus- sels sprouts 1/2 stick margarine 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsps. chopped, fresh chives pinch of salt and pepper Prepare sprouts according to package directions. Drain. Combine margarine, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a saucepan and simmer until margarine melts. Add chives to drained sprouts and toss with melted margarine mix- ture. Serves 6-8. BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH BREADING 2 9-oz. packages frozen brus- sels sprouts 1 egg, beaten with 1/2 tsp. water 3/4 cup spiced bread crumbs oil for frying Cook brussels sprouts ac- cording to package directions. Drain. Dip in egg, then crumbs and deep fry in oil for 4 min- utes. Serve immediately. Serves 6-8.
