SZ Men's Club to Sponsor -
Hanuka Gift Concert Dec. 6

The men's club of Cong.
Shaarey Zedek will host a
Hanuka gift concert 7:30
p.m. Saturday at the
synagogue,. announces
Leonard Baruch, men's club
president.
Featured at the concert
will be Cantor Chaim Naj-
man and the Bel Canto
Chorus, under the direction
of Dan Braude. Rabbi Irwin
Groner will highlight the
important aspects of the
Hanuka observance and
will lead in a candle light-
ing ceremony.
The Bel Canto Chorus
will offer a program of
Hebrew liturgical choral
numbers by Dr. Sholom
Kalib, and several selec-
tiOns from "Judas Mac-
cabeus" by Handel. In
addition, the program
will feature popular
shovv tunes and melodies.

Cantor Najman will ap-
pear as soloist in his first -*4
public appearance with Bel
Canto.
The public is invited free
of chai-ge.

host a family Hanuka
dinner 5 p.m. Sunday in the
synagogue.
The Festival Dancers of
the Jewish Community
Center will present a pro-
gram, "A Hanuka Present
for the Family: A Carnival
of Danc(?.." Harriet Berg is
the Festival Dancers' direc-
tor.
Traditional Hanuka foods
will be served. There will be
