Milgrom, Bar-Ilan Uni- versity's general chairmen, have announced the ap- pointment of Dr. Martin Hart as vice chairman for education. Dr. Hart will or- ganize a series of informa- tional meetings that will expand the community's awareness of Bar-Ilan's ac- tivities, both on its Ramat-Gan campus and in Detroit. Dr. Hart has served as Bar-Ilan scholarship co- chairman the past two years. He is serving as a DR. A native of Czechos- lovakia, Shalev received a degree in international re- lations from the American University in Washington, D.C. He fought with the British in World War II, and was a major in the Israel De- fense Forces during the War of Independence. Shalev has recently re- tired after 30 years in the Israel Foreign Service.
