John has more than 20
books to his credit. He is the

Eliezer Ben Yehuda, father
of Modern Hebrew, and the
only author to have written
biographies of both David
Ben-Gurion and Gamal
Abdel Nasser of Egypt. He
also is the biographer of
Abba Eban and has written
one novel, "The Man Who
Played God."
His dispatches on the
Yom Kippur War on both
the Syrian and Egyptian
Fronts appeared in 12
Jewish weekly newspap-
ers. He has reported all
four. of the Arab-Israeli
wars for either press,
radio or television.
