You must try the salmon spread made by owner Joan Wittenberg . . . The taste is delicate in a creamy-type consistency. There's so many good healthful things on the Healthy Jones brunch . . . Fresh fruit juice, vegetable tray with such crisp fresh- ness and an array you won't see at too many places, Healthy Jones tossed salad, also very crispy; fruit salad, cheese tray, Spanish omelette, spinach and feta cheese casserole, fried chic- ken, cod fish, breaded rat- tatouille and cheese cas- serole, spaghetti, potato pancakes with sour cream, Irish potato with butter shallots . . . whole wheat bagels, cream cheese, fresh fruits, carrot cake, sour cream cake, etc. The Sunday brunch at Healthy Jones is an ex- perience . . . It's differ- ent . . . so wholesome . . . and you walk out feeling invigorated with seemingly new good health . . . There/ an inner reaction of body satisfaction without the bloat that so many times comes from eating too much . . Satisfaction is a big word . . . and those who didn't think such healthy food could be so good are in for a surprise. The Sunday brunch at Healthy Jones is $6.95 for adults . . . and $4.95 for children 12 and under. HAVE YOU HAD the boneless chicken at Como's on Woodward and Nine Mile Rd.? . . . If not, try it . . . This is one of the spe- cialties at Como's, consid- ered by so many as one of the best neighborhood res- taurants around. THE MEDICINE NEEDED to cure alleged ill-feelings among man- agement and customers that supposedly prevailed at Jakks Lounge on Green- field and 10 Mile, has been administered . . . with the official take-over by new owners Dick and Agnes LaCombe. Official word of new own- ers also means that the airs of indecision, "could be" and denials are gone by the wayside . . . There's noth- ing up in the air anymore to hold people from coming back to Jakks . . . and it is expected that they will re- turn in droves . . . The wall-to-wall people of some-time-ago may again be greeted by many who will express joy at the change. The only physical changes so far will be a completely gutted . . . and all new clean kitchen . . . (Jakks' lounge sector will remain open but its kitchen will be closed until about Tuesday) . . . and a larger checkroom than the ridicul- ous tubby hole of before . . . Also to happen will be a face lift on the place . . . with emphasis toward making it a brighter and more pleas- ant atmosphere. The same very fine em- ployees will remain . . . happier ones knowing that a lot of their former customers will be return- ing. Dick and Agnes are a couple of people who care about others and show ex- treme intent on everyone working at Jakks feeling the same way . . . and show- ing it. RAM'S HORN, a 24- hour operation, will take over the former Southfield House on 12 Mile east of Northwestern Hwy. LOVING CUP group is at Henry's Place, Ford Rd. at the Southfield Freeway Tuesday through Saturday. THE RON CODEN SHOW started last Wed- nesday for three weeks at J.
