Junior Division
Seminar Planned

The Junior Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation
is holding an involvement
seminar for young adults
who are new to the area or
have returned after college,
7:30 p.m. Monday at the
Birmingham home of Doug-
las and Linda Etkin.
The seminar will intro-
duce the programs and
goals of Junior Division and
will include discussion by
active division members on
their backgrounds and ex-
periences.
A year-round organiza-
tion for persons of post-
college. age through their
mid-30s, Junior Division
combines fund raising for
the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign - Israel Emergency
Fund with social, service
and educational activities.
Richard Ludwig, a di-
vision vice president, is
program chairman; vice
chairman is Lori Som-
mers. Benjamin F. Ro-
senthal is division
president.

Detroiter Heads
SF Health Unit

Former Detroiter Selma
Fraiberg is heading a rela-
tively new program in the
field of infant mental health
in San Francisco.
Mrs. Fraiberg, daughter
of Mrs. Dorella Horwitz of
Oak Park and the late Jack
Horwitz, is heading the pro-
gram at San Francisco Gen-
eral Hospital. The program
aids troubled babies and
their parents and is funded
by five foundations and the
city health department.
Mrs. Fraiberg is a
graduate of Wayne State
University and the Univer-
sity of Michigan and taught
in the U-M Psychiatry De-
partment and Children's
Psychiatric Hospital from
1969-1979.
