Volunteers' Roll-Call, Honors
for Leaders at Bar-Ilan Fete

A roll-call of new volun-
teers who swelled the ranks
of supporters of the univer-
sity in Ramat-Gan, Israel,
honors for the leaders and
progress reports marked the
annual dinner of Detroit
Friends of Bar-Ilan Univer-
sity, at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek on Tuesday.

commending the pioneering
Bar-Ilan efforts of Mr. and

their having been selected
Fred M. Butzel Awardees by
the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion.

vides university enroll-

at Mercy Holocaust Series

Mercy College of Detroit,
8200 W7-Outer-Drive, is
sponsoring a Holocasut
education project that in-
cludes a lecture series, art
exhibit, credit courses and
dialogues with community
groups.
The program, "After Au-
schwitz: Vision or Void?"
will open 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
with a keynote address by
Elie Wiesel, noted author
and chairman of the U.S.
Holocaust Memorial Coun-
cil.
