Tay- Sachs is a fatal, genetically inherited disease which af- fects only young children. A donation will be requested for this screening only, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. In addition to the Tay- Sachs screening, persons at- tending Health Day will be able to receive free tests for blood typing, blood pres- sure, anemia, oral cancer detection and diabetes. Special displays, ex- hibits and demonstra- tions will also be part of the health education program. One of the fea- tured displays and demonstrations will be on Sinai's comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation and physical fitness pro- gram.
