Prizes will be awarded to the top three fund-raisers. Donations are tax-deductible. Bnai Mazal, Kadimah and Kochavim will combine for a movie party 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at the synagogue. "Cin- derfella" will be shown. Prior to the movie Bnai Mazal and Kadimah will hold elections and Kochavim will make craft items. There is a charge. Nitzanim won first prize in the group category in the ssynagogue's sukka- decorating contest. The group hung an eight-foot Star of David, shaped by Sandy Beresh, to the wall. Participating were parents, Mrs. Eric Gordon, Mrs. Sandy Rubin and Jack Tra- bin. Andrew and Elana Harris also participated. Beth Norman supervised the Nitzanim group. Rachel Karp of the Bnai Mazal group, who also helped decorate the sukka, won first place. Honorable mentions went to Brian Zimberg, Amy Winkler and Kevin Wander. Kochavim, supervised by Judy Goldis, participated under the direction of Jerry Carrick and Sandy Rubin. Members of the group re- ceived prizes for assisting. Kadimah members won prizes for their aid in de- corating the sukka. They were helped by members of Lahay. Shelly Kieran, ad- viser, presented the prizes to the members.
