Whether you're pro Carter
or pro Reagan,
there is only one choice
if you're pro Israel.

This will be a very difficult presidential election for a lot of voters. Torn by
conflicting feelings about both Carter and Reagan, concerned voters will be
searching carefully for every vital fact, every important detail that could make
a difference and tip the scale one way or the other.
But in one critical area the choice is clear. Supporting Ronald Reagan is in
the best interest of Israel. Here, taken from the record, are a few reasons why.

CARTER & THE PLO

President Carter has repeated over and
over his commitment to the security of
Israel and his pledge not to recognize or
negotiate with the PLO unless it first
recognizes Israel's right to exist.
And yet. . .on May 11th, 1978, the Carter
Administration allowed the PLO to open
the Palestine Information Office in the
nation's capital. (When asked about this
later, Carter defended the right of the
PLO to operate the office.)

REAGAN ON THE PLO:

"I don't see any reason to negotiate with
a terrorist group."

CARTER & THE U.N. "MISTAKE"
VOTE

On March 1st, 1980, the United Nations
Security Council passed Resolution 465
condemning Israel, ordering it to dis-
mantle settlements on the West Bank
and in Jerusalem. On Carter's orders, our
U.N. ambassador voted to go along with
this resolution. Immediately, cries of out-
rage came down on Jimmy Carter.
And so. . .two days later, after much
waffling and evasion, Carter told a
stunned world our U.N. vote was really
a mistake—a breakdown of communica-
tions. Nobody was fooled. Our credibility
took another setback:,

CARTER &TERRORISM

The Carter Admihistration routinely
condemns terrorist acts against Israel,
but rarely condemns the-perpetrators by
name, even when the PLO or its factions
publicly claims responsibility.
And yet. . .the Carter Administration
always criticizes Israel by name for
retaliatory strikes against terrorist bases.

REAGAN ON ISRAEL &
THE WEST BANK:

"Israel has never tried to annex the West
Bank, and the present administration in
Washington is dead wrong when it says
Israel's West Bank settlements are illegal."

REAGAN ON THE U.N. VOTES

"I would have directed the Ambassador
to vote 'no.' When we jeopardize Israel's
security by actions such as the U.N. vote
we are not only letting down an ally,
but we are also impairing our own
security."

This is a crucial election for the United States and Israel. Never before have
relations between the two countries reached such a critical state. If the Carter
Administration's policy toward Israel isn't stopped this election year, the result
will be disastrous!

SUPPORTING RONALD REAGAN IS
IN THE BEST INTEREST OF ISRAEL.
