Temple Israel Membership
to Vote on Sale of Building

The membership of Tem-
ple Israel will meet Sept. 30
to vote on the proposed sale
of the Manderson Road
building to a newly-formed
black congregation.
The Marantha Christian
Fellowship Center began
using the building this
month pending completion
of the sale. The sale price is
$800,000.
If approved by Temple Is-
rael's members, sale of the
Manderson Road facility is
expected to be completed in
October.
Temple Israel vacated its
Palmer Park home of 30

years on Aug. 31 and moved
to its new building at 5725
Walnut Lake Rd., West
Bloomfield.
