Birmingham Temple to Host
Annual Art Show and Sale

Technion Honors Cutler

In recognition of his many yeai-s of services in
support of the Israel Institute of Technology, the
Technion, Abraham J. Cutler was presented with a
citation expressing appreciation for his labors and
generous gifts. The presentation was made by Max
Gill, Midwest director of the American Friends of the
Technion, left, and Louis Milgrom, right, president of
Detroit Friends of the Technion. Cutler's gifts include
scholarShips and participation in the establishment
of dormitories and laboratories at the Technion in
Haifa, Israel.

The annual Birmingham
Temple Art Show and Sale
will be conducted November
14, 15 and 16 at the temple.
Nearly 50 artists, many of
whom are recognized na-
tionally for their creations,
will be displaying their
works during the three-day
event.
Among the media to be
displayed are works in
watercolors, oils and ac-
rylics, pottery, weaving,
photography, jewelry,
ceramics, bronze, clay, glass
and others.
The show and sale will
open with a wine preview
at 8 p.m. Nov. 14. There is
a charge. Hours for the

weekend are noon to 9
p.m. Nov. 15 and noon to 5
p.m. Nov. 16. Admission
for Nov. 15 and 16 is nom-
inal.
Proceeds will benefit the
temple.
