REMEMBERING
VIETNAM VETERANS

Michigan State Commander of the Jewish War
Veterans, William Greenberg, in announcing
the formation of new Posts specifically for vet-
erans of the Vietnam War, reminds the public,
that although "the populace would like to block
.hat period of history out of it's collective mind,
- Are must remember that patriotic Americans
were wounded, died, and were physically
handicapped for life performing what they
were told and what they thought was their
duty." And added, "their sacrifices must not be
forgotten." He has placed Senior Vice Caom-
mander David Goodstein in charge of the
JWV's effort to form Posts, and see that Viet-
nam veterans get all the benefits "that they are
so justifiably entitled to," and that the depen-
dants of these veterans are cared for in the
same manner as veterans families of every
other American War. Vietnam veterans are
urged to visit the JWV office at once for more
information.

"When a person says, how-
ever, they don't want to hear
about the war, they're saying
they don't want to hear about
the veterans. All right, if you
don't want to hear about the
war, I can understand that, but
you should still be interested in
the people who fought it and
the fatherless children or the
nesses without legs or arms in
V.A. hospitals."

VIET NAM ERA JEWISH VETERANS: GET YOUR
FRIENDS TOGETHER AND FORM A JWV POST.
Get all the respect and benefits you are entitled -to.

plaques for both honors and memorials. Only with you help
and contributions can we establish an everlasting tribute to
those, who have gone before us.
At this time, the entire community is invited to participate by
pledging your support thrugh the purchase of a plaque. Your
