The 31st annual Stag Day of the Detroit Service
Group for Allied Jewish Campaign volunteers was
held last week at Franklin Hills Country Club. Shown
in the top photograph with the loving cup awarded
the Campaign division recording the greatest per-
centage increase in pledges are, from left, David Page
of the Professional Service Division and Bernard
Stollman and Lester Burton of the Building Trades
Division. In the background, at the microphone, is
Campaign Chairman David Handleman, who was
honored with his co-chairman Irving Seligman for
their leadership of the 1980 Campaign. In the middle
photograph are the 1981 Campaign chairmen, Marvin
Goldman and David Mondry. In the bottom photo-
graph, Stag Day chairman Melvin Wallace, golf
chairman Bob Rosenthal and hospitality chairman

In preparation for the 49th General Assembly of
the Council of Jewish Federations, to be held at the
Detroit Plaza Hotel Nov. 12-16, several members of the
1980 Detroit Committe met recently at the hotel to
survey floor plans for the gathering. Looking over the

Allan/Touro College Schedules

The Allan/Touro College
will open its adult education
program beginning Oct. 7
with courses in Judaic
studies.
Non-credit daytime and
evening classes will be of-
fered-in the areas of reli-
gious literature, philos-
ophy, sociology, history,
Jewish values, ethics and
language.
