They are: Aaron Brooks, Louis I. Zuckerman, Robert V. Schechter and Manuel Katzman. in 1965 and full professor in the department of mechani- cal engineering at Technion since 1974. He has or- ganized various important international conferences on mechanical engineering, on non-conventional machining and laser machining. In 1969-1970 and 1976- 1977 he was on sabbatical leave in Detroit, serving as senior scientist, Ford Motor Co. He has re- ceived many awards and has published some 50 papers in his fields of interest in leading scien- tific journals in Israel, the U.S., Switzerland, Ger- many, Italy and France. Chairman of the program will be Julius Harwood, who is director-materials sci- ence, engineering and re- search staff at Ford Motor DR. EHUD LENZ Technion Research and De- velopment Foundation. Born in Romania, Dr. Lenz has been associated with the Technion since 1955.
