Inn. Dr. Lenz will speak on
"Industrial Research and
Development in Israel." A
new Technion film will be
featured.

Louis I. Zuckerman, Robert

Katzman.

international conferences
on mechanical engineering,
on non-conventional
machining and laser
machining.
In 1969-1970 and 1976-
1977 he was on sabbatical
leave in Detroit, serving
as senior scientist, Ford
Motor Co. He has re-
ceived many awards and
has published some 50
papers in his fields of
interest in leading scien-
tific journals in Israel, the
U.S., Switzerland, Ger-
many, Italy and France.
Chairman of the program
will be Julius Harwood, who
is director-materials sci-
ence, engineering and re-
search staff at Ford Motor

Born in Romania, Dr.
Lenz has been associated
with the Technion since
1955. He became an in-
structor in 1958, associate
professor in the department
of mechanical engineering

the Detroit Edison Co., for a
breakfast meeting for Dr.
Lenz and top research
