New York Life Insurance
Co. They are: Aaron Brooks,
Louis I. Zuckerman, Robert
V. Schechter and Manuel
Katzman.

ganized various important
international conferences
on mechanical engineering,
on non-conventional
machining and laser
machining.
In 1969-1970 and 1976-
1977 he was on sabbatical
leave in Detroit, serving
as senior scientist, Ford
Motor Co. He has re-
ceived many awards and
has published some 50
papers in his fields of
interest in leading scien-
tific journals in Israel, the
U.S., Switzerland, Ger-
many, Italy and France.

will be Julius Harwood, who
is director-materials sci-
ence, engineering and re-
search staff at Ford Motor

professor in the department
