in E. Lansing

"An Artist's View of Is-
rael," a program by Karen
Hills, will take place 8:30
p.m. Tuesday in the East
Lansing Library, sponsored
by the Lansing Community
College's Jewish group.
Ms. Hills will present a
slide program on Israel. A
social hour with refresh-
ments will follow. The pub-
lic is invited free of charge.
Ms. Hills was a jewelry
designer on two kibutzim in
1979. She has taught
jewelry design at the com-
munity college and has dis-
played her works in New
York, New Jersey and at the
Detroit Institute of Arts.
