TEL AVIV (JTA) —
Yizhak Rabin, who is in
Argentina as a guest of the
Jewish community and who
will lecture at a forum of the
Argentine armed forces na-
tional staff college in
Buenos Aires, has come
under fire by the youth sec-
tion of the Labor Party
which is demanding that he
cancel the lecture.
The youth section
claimed that Rabin, by lec-
turing before the armed
forces staff, will legitimize a
military dictatorship which
has been responsible for the
disappearance of thousands
of Jews in Argentina.
So far, Rabin has refused
to cancel his lecture. Fol-
lowing his six-day visit to
Argentina, Rabin IA ill go to
New Orleans to address the
national convention–of the
Jewish War Veterans.
The former premier is
then expected to spend a few
days in Washington, where
he was Israel's ambassador
before becoming premier.
