Please phone 399-0079 Mexican • Official Criticizes UN Resolution Vote MEXICO CITY (JTA) — Mexico's vote for the United Nations General Assembly resolution ,demanding that Israel vacate all the occu- pied territories, including Jerusalem, was sharply criticized last weekend by a leader of Mexico's Parlia- ment, Gerardo Molina of the Accion Nacional Party. Molina said this was a wrong direction for Mexico to take and recalled that Mexico's vote for the As- sembly's infamous Zionism equals racism resolution in 1975 sparked a great deal of criticism of President Luis Echeverria at the time. The legislator said the better and more just policy would be for the Arab coun- tries, which have so much land, to give part of their territories to the Palesti- nians so that they can estab- lish a Palestinian entity. Negev Project Manpower Down JERUSALEM (JTA) — Despite growing unem- ployment in Israel, there has been a shortage of man- power for the work on the construction of new air- fields in the Negev, accord- ing to Deputy Defense Minister Mordechai Zipori. As a consequence, he said, workers are needed from abroad. Zipori said the American contractors building the air- fields were still looking for some 200 Israeli workers, six months after they re- ported the need. Israel gained statehood in 1948, but .was not accepted into the United Nations until 1949.. r Youth News Bakst of Rose AZA; Michele Ungar of Ahavah BBG; Michael Weil of L'Chaim AZA; and Eva Wofsy of Strauss BBYO, Mt.
