The goodwill journey for the 16-member team, their coach, manager, interpreter and a representative of U.S. Committee for Sports for Is- rael made June 24-July 4 was an outgrowth of a meet- ing a year earlier at the Pan American games in Mexico. The games were played at Hebraica Hall, a Jewish club in Caracas. All three games ended with a 3-1 score, with the Americans winning the second game and the Venezuelans win- ning the first and third con- tests. Scott, who will be a senior and captain this year of the Carman High School varsity soccer team, played 'midfield. Brian, a junior and member of the Cornell University varsity soccer team, was a defenseman. The American team was awarded a trophy. Each player was given a medal.
