Richared P. Hathaway, a
trial attorney in the Wayne
County Prosecutor's office is
a canaidate for Recorder's
Court judge in Tuesday's
primary election.
Hathaway is a former
administrator of the
Victim/Witness Program,
and is a former English
teacher and has lectured at
the Criminal Justice Insti-
tute.
He is a member of the
American and Michigan bar
associations and is a resi-
dent of Detroit.

tional interreligious affairs

Jewish Committee, will be
one of five world religious
personalities to receive
honorary degrees Aug. 17 at
Assumption College, Wor-
cester, Mass.
The conferring of the de-
grees will inaugurate a
six-day institute at the col-
lege during which Christian
and Jewish leaders in inter-
religious affairs will review
the outlook for the future in
these fields during the corn-
ing decade.
