Joining with the celeb- rant in planting the forest are -his brothers, Rabbi Herbert Parzen and Louis Parzen, and their sister, Florence (Mrs. Aaron) Friedman, and their families. The JNF forest of 10,000 trees is in Lahav in the Negev, where a three million-tree project is now in the process of planting. Born in Lodz, Poland, George Parzen was brought to Detroit by his parents at the age of four.
